I peered into the vastness and saw nothing. Felt nothing.

JJ is describing it as a "blood relative" to the first film. Or in another words, a spin-off. A new movie taking place in the same universe as the found footage flick, but not exactly a sequel.

Cloverfield is my personal favorite found footage movie. This looks pretty intriguing, not to mention it's an excellent teaser.

Cool.
Trailer was nothing compared to the Cloverfield one though.

Intriguing. The fact that it's coming out in less than two months is pretty sweet.

This seems more like a smaller scale version of cloverfield...

I'll definitely be checking this out. For a while now, I've been fascinated by clever ideas for low budget movies. Even if it turns out not to be a particularly good film, the premise is an intriguing one.

Cool. Trailer was nothing compared to the Cloverfield one though. I don't think it's possible to recreate the hype surrounding Cloverfield. It had some excellent marketing, and half the fun was all of the fan speculation. This trailer doesn't give away too much, but it gives us more to go on than we had with Cloverfield. The fact that this movie is at all related to the events from the first is enough to get a lot of people excited for it.

94% on 17 reviews so far.
I'm definitely going to check this out this weekend. If it wasn't for me being on graveyard I would go catch it tomorrow night.
