Revolver is one of the lesser Beatle albums. My Rank (right now): 1. Rubber Soul 2. Abbey Road 3. The White Album 4. A Hard Day's Night 5. Sgt. Pepper / Magical Mystery Tour (I consider it one album) 6. Revolver 7. Help 8. Let It Be 9. Please Please Me 10. With the Beatles 11. Beatles for Sale Hmm, just last week it dawned on me that I really love Rubber Soul. Probably my second favorite after Abbey Road. Our lists would actually be pretty similar. |

I recently revisited Help! Man that's a solid album, a hell of a lot better than Meet/With the Beatles and all that fluff.

I like their early fluff. I like the early singles, but albums really weren't great. A Hard Day's Night was the shift and Rubber Soul was the breakthrough. You can define the Beatles into three eras: pre-1964, pre-sgt pepper and post-sgt pepper. |
