Deexan Dracula thebtskinkI saw iTunes list this as an essential rock song. They probably aren't wrong. That video has 174 million views on YouTube. I'm always impressed when an old music video has as many views as a new music video. It gives me faith in today's youth.

It's my life, not so good.
I remember Livin on a Prayer and Paradise City being the essentials at the town rollerskating rink. That place had pizza and the Simpson's and X-Men arcade games.

Axel Rose stole his dance moves from The Monkees.

I hope you're happy, thebtskink . You've got me watching Guns n Roses videos.

I met Duff McKagen a year or two back backstage at a concert. He really still doesn't like Axl. At. All.
I'm also gonna go unpopular opinion and put Don't Cry as my favorite GnR video. November Rain is second.

As I have revealed in other threads, GnR were the first band I ever truly loved (aged 10) and I find it incredible how many of their songs hold up. I'm thinking Sweet Child O Mine (which they thought would be a pointless filler track when they recorded it), November Rain, Welcome to the Jungle, Paradise City, Knockin' on Heaven's Door... It's insane how popular they became, globally, considering the nature of their output.
You would never see anything of their like today.
I was fortunate enough to see them live in 2007. 15 years after discovered them.
Even though Axl was all that remained, they still rocked the shit out of the venue.
But back to Bon Jovi...
I fell in love with 'Always' in '95. The Cross Roads album I just found out contained a lot of their old tracks, like 'Livin' On A Prayer'.
I guess Slippery When Wet wasn't popular enough so they added the biggest hits from it to their next album... weird.
Anyway, I'd never put them up with GnR's level but 'Always' will "always" (hey-ooh) have a special place in my heart.

DeexanYou didn't see Guns n Roses in 2007. You saw Axel Rose & Friends. Slippery When Wet (great title) was HUGE in America.

So why re-release Livin' On A Prayer? IT JUST DOESN'T MAKE SENSE.

I will say that GnR starting a gig with 'Welcome to the Jungle' was immense.

So why re-release Livin' On A Prayer? IT JUST DOESN'T MAKE SENSE. It should be released every Christmas, so it can make the UK pop charts.
