The gladiatorial arena battle is from Planet Hulk, not World War Hulk. It was not Beta Ray Bill who fought Hulk in the Planet Hulk comic book. Hulk fought the Silver Surfer in the arena in the comic. It was the animated movie version of Planet Hulk in which Hulk fought Beta Ray Bill. I wonder if this version of Hela will be Loki's daughter. |

It's been hinted that Hela is the MCU incarnation of Death, which would make a strong connection with this movie and Thanos.

Is anyone else wondering why this looked like Guardians Of The Galaxy the colors and so on and my theory is this and its just that a theory. Thor Ragnarock ends with Thor and Hulk or rather Banner by the end who will need a ride home and Thor is how we will meet The Guardians in Avengers 3 get muscle help when Thor and Hulk catch a ride home with The Guardians. So maybe the simular tone and Colors is neat little surprise unknown easter egg.

Looks sweet, marvel found another director to up the color in these movies.
Not sure how much I like them changing hulk's look and making him talk sensible like, but I guess that's the natural progression for him.

It's pretty clear that Marvel Studios would prefer to be able to make another solo Hulk movie, if they didn't have to share $$ with Universal to do it. The fact that The Incredible Hulk didn't make much money is totally irrelevant at this stage. It was only the second film in the MCU, and just five years after Angst Lee's gamma-poodle fighting Hulk. Since they can't do a Hulk solo, this is a fun compromise. There's clearly more Thor in this movie than Hulk, though. |
