PG Cooper may live in the golden age of streaming but you missed out on Nickelodeon in its prime. Maybe this will give you just a taste of what childhood was like for me and Neverending.

Coincidentally, I'm currently reading a book called Slimed! The Oral History of Nickelodeon's Golden Age. It's made up entirely of quotes from actors and producers/directors/hosts who were involved in Nick shows from its inception in the mid-80's to some point in the early 90's. Of course, I grew up with 90's Nickelodeon, but they still had reruns then of some of the shows they talk about in this book: Double Dare, Pete & Pete, Rugrats, Clarissa Explains It All, Hey, Dude!, You Can't Do That On Television, Are You Afraid of the Dark?, etc.
Fun read for anyone nostalgic for that era.

There are FIVE Nickelodeon channels on Pluto TV. Nickelodeon has come a long way since I was a kid. My family had a bargain basement cable package that just happened to include Nickelodeon when it first came out. Back then, all of their shows were incredibly cheap to make. The most expensive show their aired were reruns of Doctor Who. The cheapest was a guy who would just read comic books.
