First up.
Tel Aviv on Fire is a middle eastern comedy about a Kramer looking dude working for a Palestinian soap opera centered on a female spy infiltrating the Israeli army in 1967. Everyday, Kramer has to drive through the border between Palestine and Israel and he comes in contact with an Israeli guard who’ll make his life difficult till the soap opera becomes less anti-Israel.
This movie won’t solve any middle eastern conflicts nor is it as clever as the Palestinian Chicken episode from Curb Your Enthusiasm. But it’s a cute comedy about two insecure dudes, from opposite worlds, learning to better themselves.
