I decided to dedicate the past few days to watching Les Vampires, one of the earliest entries from the 1001 Movies You Must See Before You Die book that I haven't seen. It's a serial and not a straight feature and it clocks in at over 8 hours. I'm barely halfway done and as much as I enjoy silent film, thats a lot of silent film. If it were up to me this would count as 3 or 4 entries on Letterboxd and not just one. It's only about seven hours if you're watching it at the right frame-rate. Yeah Doomsday you idiot, watching an extra hour.

Let’s put it this way, a 108 year old 7 hour serial is higher on the list than Wonka.
