Jibbs thebtskink PG CooperThis made me re-think my “stripped down White Album” I’ve never been a fan of the White Album’s original tracklisting cause it’s just too damn random. I like grouping the similar style songs together, like Rocky Raccoon & Bungalow Bill, for example. But I guess if you want to capture the distant sound of the album, meaning, the Beatles parting away, I guess you can have some fun with the tracklisting. 1) Hey Bulldog 2) Lady Madonna 3) While My Guitar Gently Weeps I think you gotta open with the three tracks where the three main Beatles are clearly competing with each other, even if it means throwing in the ‘68 singles that were left off the album. 4) Rocky Raccoon 5) I’m So Tired 6) Piggies Slower songs, but still flow with the others, and display individual quirks. 7) Martha My Dear 8) Yer Blues 9) Don’t Pass Me By More tempo but still quirks, plus some Ringo. 10) Helter Skelter 11) Blackbird 12) Hey Jude Closing with Paul since he was the dominant one during this period.
