I think the only people who were ever worried about Pattinson were asshats who are concerned about diversity, PC thugs, and liberal media ruining the white man's stranglehold hold over America. Anybody who isn't ignorant to his career outside of Twilight already knows he's a decent choice.

Of course the rumor mill churns away on the Internet with real and made up stuff. I was reading the below article forewarning that The Batman, is the darkest Batman or more appropriately, Bruce Wayne, film depiction ever. I don't want to judge this as it's all about how this vision is portrayed through character development and what not, but do we really need a darker Batman than what has come before? Hypothetically, seeing a deep reflection of the trauma of his childhood forming him into becoming Batman, this could radically change how audiences connect with the character. Seeing a vulnerable and mentally unwell Batman could be a breath of fresh air if done right. There is also a big part of me stating that, like Superman, it's really hard to not get too outside the parameters that make Batman the character we know and love before he's not really Bruce Wayne or Batman because the origins are radicallly changed up. wegotthiscovered.com/movies/batman-reportedly-darker-batman-superman-dark-knight/ |

It is incredibly rare for me to skip a comic book movie, even if I think it's going to suck. I think the last DC movie I skipped was Jonah Hex. There is no way I'm seeing a three hour Batman movie with the kid from the sparkly vampire movies at a movie theater. I'll watch it on HBO Max over the course of a weekend. I don't even think it's going to suck, currently. I'm just not going to sit through three hours of a DC movie. Their track record is not good enough to justify that.
