I can't get the video to play on USA's website past the third commercial break, so I'm missing about 10 to 15 minutes of show. So far it's alright even if it is a bit 'project mayhem'-y.

I'm curious what the very tech-savvy people have to say about all the techno mumbo jumbo. I was lost on most of it all shorty after they mentioned TOR. I'm pretty sure the high tension 'server shutdown' scene was pretty far removed from reality. Additionally, the password cracker requires a bit more effort and time than the few minutes shown on the show. Unfortunately, I've known someone trying to use such a program to crack a password and it took over a month's worth of the program running and I'm fairly certain he never got access to the account.

I'm pretty sure the high tension 'server shutdown' scene was pretty far removed from reality. There's an episode of White Collar, another USA series, where a criminal is hacking into the FBI, and all they did was unplug their computers to stop him. |

The blatant nods to anonymous are kind of awkward and forced. I can't figure out if fsociety is meant to be taken seriously or if I'm the only one who finds them uncomfortably funny.
This week's episode wasn't as good as the first, but it was still alright. I enjoyed the "ones and zeroes" speech. What a perfect way to make someone feel like garbage.
*spoilers maybe*
Thoughts on the kid with the mix CD given to Angelia and Ollie? E Corp, maybe? When Elliot turned paranoid after hacking Tyrell I thought it was all in his head, but then I remembered that Tyrell clearly noticed Elliot switching the reports in the meeting (in episode 1) from the one without Colby's IP to the one with his info in it.
I'm looking forward to next week.

I wasn't a fan of episode 2 either. They should have had the Swedish Dragon Tattoo guy direct all the episodes.

Season 2 was kind of boring at the beginning and I fell behind, but I'll catch up eventually. It's a show that shouldn't be watched while fucking around on the internet, and that means it takes longer to get to it.
