Rick and Morty (Adult Swim)

Fell asleep to the newest episode and I have no desire to go back and watch it again

I guess some people were riding the hype train for too long. It's going to be hard to match up to the first episode of this season, which I actually consider my favorite episode of the entire series now. I've still been enjoying these, though, and I think they'll hold up better after repeated viewings watching the seasons back to back.

One of the best of the season, right up there with Pickle Rick!

Because those Rick's became what they hate the most.

I simply took most of it as a spoof/joke episode, more than anything else, of many different movies (Training Day, Stand By Me, Willy Wonka, etc).

Not to say I haven't tried to piece it together, regardless. Taking it on a more serious note, I would say this just goes to show how Rick our Rick is, and how many that are out there that don't even come close. The ones that did probably were the higher ranking ones, a great many of which died when the Citadel was taken down. And even they weren't as Rick as C-137, hence why he was able to achieve what he did.

At some point our Rick and Evil Morty are going to have a showdown of wits, which hopefully proves to be a good story, considering Evil Morty has already outwitted him before.

I was just re-watching the season three premiere, and I noticed something.  At the end when Rick shows up to rescue Morty & Summer, he kills all of the members of the Council of Ricks except for one.  The Councilman who tries to break the window is only stunned, rather than killed.  All the other councilmen die with loads of blood, but not this one.  This one has some electricity flow over him, after which he collapses.  

I gotta wonder if this was done intentionally, and will lead to something eventually.
