I’ve been plowing through this pretty hard, it’s a fantastic show. Equally funny and intelligent. I’ve a couple episodes left of season 4, just finished the patent troll episode. It’s amazing how each character in the show is engaging and hilarious in their own way. The only downside is I’m almost caught up.

This show is entirely too formulaic. They keep managing to make a bit of progress, but something always hinders them. This turncoat Laurie situation is just too much, for me.

The whole show is Pied Piper having an idea, executing, it backfires but they still come out on top. Pied Piper has been about six different things since the show started but it's done well and intelligently and I like intelligent shows that don't treat the audience like they're idiots. Silicon Valley is a show for smart people while shows like, say Big Bang Theory is a show for very dumb people.

It's been the same thing from the first season to now. If you only just noticed the formula I don't know what to say.
