I've seen them all, and they're a guilty pleasure even though only two of them, maybe, I would give a positive score to. The best to me is Part VI, because it's perhaps the only time other than "Jason X" that the franchise realized what a joke it is and had fun with its concept. It's funny, it has some good kills, it actually has children at the camp for once, and it's got the showdown between Jason and Tommy Jarvis. That one and the original are passable entertainment, the rest are purely because why the hell not.

Part 2 is okay. The Final Chapter is the best one. Jason Lives is the most entertaining. Jason X is hilarious. The remake is pretty good.

I've been meaning to watch all of them but....I don't know if I'd be able to tolerate it. I turned off the second or third Nightmare after 15 minutes.

I've been meaning to watch all of them but....I don't know if I'd be able to tolerate it. I turned off the second or third Halloween after 15 minutes. I forgot about Part 4, it's alright too, but it's essentially a retread of the first 3 films. I watched them mostly in high school. Overall, the films are worse than the Halloween and Nightmare series, but in a way they're more fun than the Halloween movies because those sequels still thought they were smart and interesting when they were anything but. I can't say I'd recommend watching all of them, but there's worse movies to spend your time on as well.

Well, sometimes I like really bad cinema. It's not time wasted for me. It's often hilarious and cathartic in some ironic way. Honestly, I find the ill-conceived attempts at horror to be funnier than a filmmaker deliberately trying to be humorous.

I never saw that movie. The Friday... series never did anything for me, even in my teenage, horror-loving years.

I used this most recent Friday the 13th to watch Miracle on 34th Street (1947) and rewatch Shrek.

The opening montage where they show New York and play that '80s song is the best part of that shitty movie. And Jason in Times Square but that's about it unfortunately.

I remember cheering on the black kid who boxes Jason on top of the building. I thought that was a great scene.

That scene is pretty funny too now that I think of it. Jason punches his head clean off into a dumpster, easily the best kill of the film.

One week till Trump becomes President. I love how all the light stands are properly sandbagged haha. Good job grip team! This is far and away the worst of the series. Jason Goes to Hell is a complete train wreck of a film with no redeemable qualities at all. *waits for Neverending to post clip of Freddy's claw from the end of the movie*

Jason Goes to Hell. Hell is in the title. But yeah, it's probably the worst one. 7 & 8 are close contenders.

No scenes of him in Hell, which could have been silly fun. Instead it's a lot of terrible actors pretending to be Jason. I read that the director of this film was a production assistant before and that's it. No real experience, no handle on anything, just got the job out of pure nepotism. And boy did it show. 7 at least has some fun stuff with him fighting the psychic girl, 8 has the Times Square scene. This one has nothing.

That's what everyone thought the movie was gonna be: Jason in hell. Super disappointing when it finally came out.
