Super Bowl Commercials

Sometimes you do, and sometimes you’re an esteemed actor with enough clout to tell a studio you aren’t their dancing monkey.

All they're asking him to do is read some copy in a suit in front of a green screen, it's not really the kind of thing you tell your bosses no to.

Both SnoBorderZero and Doomsday were on the Super Bowl this year.

Congrats.

Those awful commercials certainly won't be enticing anyone.

The commercials seem to get worse and worse every year, and yesterday was no exception. You can cram all the cameos and celebrities and "rah rah for America" messaging that you want into these overly expensive flops, but when it's one creatively devoid concept after another it just doesn't matter in the end. 

The Totino's are pretty solid.

That T Mobile commercial was embarrassing.  I wasn't thinking about my cell phone service at all during that mess.  I spent the entire commercial thinking, "Olivia Newton-John died last year, so she's been replaced by the guys from Scrubs?!"  I don't even like Grease (1978), and I still hated everything about it.  The commercial that was spoofing Caddyshack (1980) had the same effect.  I don't even know what they were advertising.  All I know is that they replaced Ted Knight with Bryan Cox.  You don't replace Ted Knight with anyone.
