That's right, 15 years of "so close" and "why didn't I go with my instinct!" let downs! The rules are the same, but since the rules are forever destroyed with the old Coming Soon boards, I will post them again.
Post your ONE AND ONLY ONE guess for EVERY category here in this thread BEFORE the date of the Oscars which will air on Sunday, February 22, 2015 on ABC. I would prefer you NOT make edits to your post once you have posted them as I like to put them into Excel rather early, but if you must, inform me of the edit in a separate post. Also, do not make any edits to your post on the day of the Oscars, of course.
The scoring scheme stays the same with the point value of each category being determined by how many movies were nominated. Four points for four nominations, five for five, etc. However, Best Picture remains at five points.

This year seems really tough to pick for some reason. It's because BP isn't quite locked up yet and also because there's no movie like Gravity or Life of Pi to sweep the technical categories.

Some people are expecting Birdman to win Best Picture and Linklater to win Best Director. But what if it's the other way around? What if Boyhood wins Best Picture and Alejandro wins Best Director? If there's a "shocker" this year, that will probably be the one.
