Lets Say there was a an event and one bunker preserved arts that including 50 movies on in film cases. What would be your list of 50 movies that should be saved in the event one day future people could see them and some day make movies again based off of these 50 Movie Marvels. I myself would never want to see movies being made end. Lets face it the whole moving picture idea has come a long way. You can choose any movie ever made from the movie sound era too the now 3d Era for I Max screens. I will select 3 movies per day to make the thread last. Again your welcome to post your own list or if cant choose 50 do 25 . 50.Ghostbusters.
49.Terminator.
48. Unforgiven
Yes whats a thread without Vader Commentary. I just cannot imagine letting Stay Puft Marsh Mellow Man be lost forever or Arnald I'LL be Back being lost. Plus nobody on earth should want to not save Unforgiven. With Clint Eastwood at his best.

Solid choices so far. I'd save Terminator 2 over the first and I doubt we'd have room for both.

47 The Wizard Of Oz.
46 Harry Potter And The Sorcerer's Stone.
45 The Lion King.
Well Oz is an all time classic and you have to include those films really ahead of its time. Some may say why HP cause really for me its the most magical for its the first and you cannot leave off Harry Potter from a movie or book vault. And the Lion King well just because its the Lion King.

I think most people would rather just keep the books and leave the movies for the past.

44 Alien.
There is no question many love Alien 2 because of Cameron more but I think Alien 1 had such a good cast and I like first movies that start trilogies for so weird reason more then sequels. Alien still brings a shiver to my spine and it is a movie that should be saved in a capsol.
43 Braveheart.
Freedom may be a big thing in the future show a movie that screams freedom should be seen and this movie has one of the best death scenes in the movies. It my third favorite death scene.
42 Home Alone.
One of the best christmas classic going. Home alone may have been bad luck for the kid but it sure was one of the funniest things i ever saw when first watched it.I liked it better then the Christmas Story movie i mean that story is very boring and thats a movie id be ok see lost in a blaze.
41 Conan The Barbarian.
Its a rare movie where you get Vader killing Arnald Mother . I mean what persons could leave out Conan with Swartzenegger and James Earl Jones. I know this is my second Arnald movie but hey what can i say im an 80's movie geek.

I never thought I'd see Home Alone as something fit for a time capsule.

40 The 10 Commandments.
Its not possible to have movies saved in a bunker and not have Cecil B DeMilles epic classic with Heston as Moses. I respect classic films i just tend to gravitate towards movies i grew up with in my life span but as a kid waiting for school. Watched allot of AMC which had biblical classics westerns and Monster and Godzilla movies. My expertise is not breakfast at tiffanys or Look Whos Coming to Dinner. Its the late late or early morning classics after before the Stoogies or Bugs and Daffy.

39 Jaws.
What can be said about the movie that made most people fear to go in water for decades. Not to mention another great Score from John Williams.

I never thought I'd see Home Alone as something fit for a time capsule. Ah, but this is a time capsol so it's different criteria.

38 Pirates Of The Caribbean : Curse Of The Black Pearl.
This movie is better as a stand alone original. I love the sequels and even 4 had good qualities but 1 just holds more disney magic if ask me. Also seeing Jack the first time has more fun then seeing jack be jack 4 movies in.

36 The Searchers.
Its not possible having a movie bunker and not having a couple John Wayne classics. The Searchers is hailed as his best film and the one he really should have gotten the oscar for.

35 Spider-Man
Dont care what anyone says looking back on things 3 movies were key to making what comic book films are today. Spiderman success allowed the door to comics to be opened. Its true X-Men came first and Batman movies but Spiderman was so big it and successful comics were looked at not being a dream to make anymore.

34 Iron Man.
Iron Man and Marvel with Pararmount saved the comic book films with Iron Man. With Spiderman 3 and X-Men 3 and FF failure Marvel was facing an end. Iron Man saved Marvels bacon and paved way for the next wave in Marvel comic films. While Nolans Batman movies were amazing they did nothing to further advance DC and there other projects. Iron Man kinda was Spidermans reboot in the world of causing a new wave of comic book film hope and interest.
