Pulled out of the Paris climate deal. Is it because it had the word Paris in it? Why do conservatives not believe in the greenhouse gas effect?
Even the industry tried (supposedly) to keep us in it.

Even Tillerson is against pulling out. That tells you something, from an oil man.

From a business point-of-view you wanna play both sides and see who comes out on top. Trump is a Blockbuster. He'll be extinct soon.

You know, the last time I was in Mexico, the mall in Playa Del Carmen had a Spanish translation of Mein Kampf.
I'm disappointed in myself that I didn't purchase it.

That's on me. 😟 Posted that before coffee. Lol, I know exactly what you mean. Been there, done that! ============ CONFEFE!!!! 7 subpoenas went out yesterday, for papers dealing with the alleged collusion, and for appearances to testify on the hill. Trump's Fabulous lawyer made it easier for the Senate committee, because when he said he would not follow their requests, the committee voted so that the two chairmen could issue any subpoena on their own without asking them all. I think most are complying now, and Comey should be testifying by next Wednesday. I think if they had nothing to hide, they would be cooperating fully, instead of trying to hide and distract. Sessions is now being investigated for undisclosed meetings with Russia hmmm... I think that makes it five people who didn't declare those meetings on their security forms. Those are felonies right there. I'm glued to my TV about this if you hadn't guessed. Lol its boring in rehab, and I miss Court TV Gee, I remember the televised Watergate trials back when I was eleven years old, and all I could think of was that I was missing my shows lol.

That sack of shit wasnt elected by Pittsburgh, we went 80 20 for the good guys. As always. Again, he only left because it says Paris in it. I honestly don't think he cared, he would have signed the trump climate agreement in a heartbeat though.
Cant stop green energy. It's too effective now.

He doesn't like anything with Obama's name on it either.
The mayor of Pittsburgh was on TV last night railing against Trump using their city in his speech. They, and other cities ha e cleaned up their act and are going to follow the agreement even if we're not in it.
Also in the news, Trump is trying to give back two properties seized from Russia in MD and NY. And asked for a property in St Petersburg, but they said no, but Trump wants to give them back the two properties anyway, and planned to do so ever since day one.

Can we impeach this guy already?
I'll take my chances with Mike Pence.
Trump pulled out of the Paris Climate Agreement and used misleading information to defend his decision. He cited an MIT research that says the agreement will have minimal effect. However, that same research says that doing nothing (which Trump is basically proposing) will make things A LOT worse. He fails to understand that this agreement is opening the door... getting the ball rolling... a stepping stone to improve the environment. It's something, which by contrast, he has nothing.
Then again, he's a business man and sees things from a different point of view. Many have pointed out that he's pro-asbestos. Yes. Seriously. Asbestos was originally used in homes and buildings because it's fire resistant. However, breathing it causes cancer. He got mad that he was forced to remove / stop using asbestos and even claimed the twin towers would have survived the 9/11 attacks if they had asbestos.
The man is a lunatic.

He's living in the 1950's he wants outdated useless polluting coal to come back, but everyone and their uncle knows its better to spend now to develop sustainable renewable energy sources. That's why all those companies are onboard with the Paris Accords.
There are even a few CEOs leaving Trump's Advisory Board.
Trump is succeeding in isolating us from them rest of the world.

You guys are assuming he believes what he's saying and/or cares what effects his actions will have. The one and only reason he or any other Republican wants out of the Paris Agreement is because the other side likes it and they want to stick it to them.

Every time I hear Trump on the news, he's invariably saying something I find infuriating and stupid. Is this how conservatives felt when Obama was on the news? I know the ultra/alt-right wingers did, but that was mostly about who was saying it, rather than what was being said. I thoroughly disliked W. Bush, but I didn't angrily turn off the radio halfway through every report on his latest idiocy. I certainly do now, though. To make matters worse, I've little doubt that this state of affairs is just what the jackass in chief wants.

George W. Bush's presidency almost killed my brother, but he always seemed a pawn of the American Century crowd in Rumsfeld and Cheney. I have a picture of him and Laura visiting my brother at Walter Reed with my brother rockin' a vote for Kerry pin.
The Iraq War was never about oil, but ideology and believing they could force democracy and western ideals on the Muslim world via a domino effect. As much as I hated him at the time, ay least I can respect the ethos behind it as what it was, and see why someone would believe it.
I don't get why the hell those who still support Trump still do. They're entirely lost in right wing news lies, and refuse to accept legitimate journalism as fake news.
Imagine what the world would look like now if Andrew Breitbart were still alive, even if you were willing to dance on his grave at the time. No Steve Bannon in power. No Trump Presidency. It's rocketing up my "what would you do with a time machine" rankings.

You can disagree with Obama's ideology but the man clearly had functioning brain cells. W. Bush is still technically the worse President. He got us involved in Iraq. Trump hasn't really done anything yet. But you'r right, Trump is a zillion times more infuriating. That's simply because Trump is an asshole. Politics aside, W. Bush isn't really a bad person. You can't even fault him entirely for his Presidency. Dick Cheney and whats-his-face were the ones pulling the strings. Similar can be said about Reagan. But Trump is Nixon level asshole, actually, worse than Nixon.

Actually Nixon was a decent president for the most part, and for the times. I know he ordered some shady things to go on, but I actually felt safer with him in office. Yeah, he fucked up royally when he decided to cover up the break in, but it was crazy times.
Id Rather have Nixon with Kissinger back in office than Trump and his clown sideshow.

Nixon might seem decent compared to some of the lunatic conservatives we're dealing with now but he was a criminal in the white house, his foreign policy was despicable, and his obsession with "law and order" was the start of a lot of the nonsense we're dealing with now.

Nixon is also responsible/to blame for high fructose corn syrup. Seriously, look it up! The fact that so many things available today that are made out of corn and generally terrible for you is because of Nixon.
Nevertheless...

His foreign policy with regards to the war was crappy. Escalate it to end it. And yes, we still carpet bombed the shit out of Cambodia, he did get us out of it though, at a time where there were something like 300 American fatalities a week. But Nixon did open the way to China and Russia in the middle of all that communist fear and Cold War, and that was a huge success. He also made tons of visits to other countries - more than any other president of that era. He didn't handle things at home too well, he only temporary stalled inflation, he hated hippies, and had lots and lots of protests and riots to deal with.

Nixon also gave us the EPA, the very thing Trump is trying to kill this week. He also wasn't opposed to the feminist movement, which Republicans have been trying to murder for 40+ years. If you attack Nixon for criminalization laws, you also have to go after Bill Clinton. If you're against his war antics, you also have to acknowledge Obama for his overuse of drone strikes. Nixon had more in common with modern democrats. I don't know if that speaks badly about republicans or democrats.

Nixon had more in common with modern democrats. I don't know if that speaks badly about republicans or democrats. It speaks badly about modern politicians of almost every stripe. Even a war hero like John McCain has been corrupted by the political establishment. He occasionally talks a good game, but ultimately continues to tow the party line straight to hell.
