Citron gets 40% of their profits from robinhood... End of story. Def some lawsuits incoming, absolutely mental few weeks though. Robinhood was right on the cusp of an ipo too, wonder how quickly their ceo will get the boot.

Welp that lasted about 2 seconds... The right is fully behind trump still. What a joke to assume they wouldn't be.

Entire gop wing in pa has been fighting over themselves to show how trumpian they are to the throngs of voters still entranced by his antics.

All those moderate repubs are being shouted down consistently. Here I thought mittens was gonna make another run at it (and I might have at least half listened) but it's clear he's in the mico minority and the right still loves a conspiracy.


The one plus is all my crazy neighs have replaced their trump flags with american ones. Just in case we forgot where we were.

The GOP has been a disaster for genuine conservatives since 2008.  There have been Republicans on the fringe for as long as I can remember, but once the US elected a black man as President, extremists began coming out of the shadows and making appeals to white voters who'd always told themselves they weren't racists, and suddenly realized they were not in fact okay with a black President.  The door was opened for extremists of all sorts, and that is a hard door to close.  

What's worse for the GOP is that these lunatics have become a significant part of their base, and if you can't appeal to your base, you can't even win your primary.  It's going to be very interesting to see what the results of the mid-terms are.  If Republican candidates wind up having to spout pro-trump nonsense just to become their party's candidate, how are independents going to react to them?  Every election there's talk of a "blue wave" that never seems to coalesce, but that isn't necessary this time for the GOP to lose big.  They didn't lose the Presidency because of a blue wave.  They didn't lose the Senate seats of Georgia because of a blue wave.  They lost it because of an anti-trump wave.  They could lose the mid-terms across the country the same way.    

No, it certainly wasn't.  That said however, it's resulting in a lot of shady business practices that high rollers do as a matter of routine coming to light.  It's so routine for them in fact, that they don't even understand that it's wrong.  Not having a conscience or a soul might have something to do with it, too.

Here we have the chairman of Interactive Brokers freely discussing all the crooked business his company has been up to.  He admits that he suspended trading in order to protect himself and his regular big money clients from the manipulations of poor people who are impacting the market in a way he and his other more valued clients weren't prepared to deal with, since they were trying to manipulate the market in the opposite direction.  He doesn't even see anything wrong with what he did.  He thinks it's the gamers on reddit who are the crooks, and he and his fellow billionaires are the victims.

I hadn't heard of her until a few days ago and, well, holy fucking shit.
