I do think activists could stand to be a bit more mindful of what they say at times That's it. That's all I'm trying to say. You and I probably agree way more than we disagree when it comes to Trump as a person and his abilities as a leader, I just think that if the game is to tempt voters to the Democratic side it would serve their argument well to be more mindful as to the approach. He was dumb but he wasn't that dumb. I'll meet you halfway. I think he approached the Presidency as owning his own company, doing whatever he wanted, saying whatever he wanted, threatening people, thinking he answer to no one and trying to make things happen outside proper procedures of which I think he was more or less ignorant, willfully ignorant toward the end I'm sure. He surrounded himself with family and yes-men from his inner circle who just jerked him off the whole time and ignored advice from anyone else. Bad leader? Sure. But dictator, I just hesitate to use that term especially when the incompetence is on full display. That sounds like a fair assessment. I'd add that Trump has a desperate need for approval. This isn't exactly an uncommon trait, but with Trump it goes to such extremes that he can't readily bring himself to condemn anyone who proclaims their admiration of him. How could they be hatemongers if they love him, after all? Loving him is all that matters. Anything else is incidental in his eyes. |

Just endless copies of Art of the Deal, his greatest hits of tweets like you mentioned, and altered math to show how he won the popular vote both times. Probably some coloring and pop-up books too. When I was filming in Atlanta last year I went to the Jimmy Carter library and was impressed by what it offered. Seeing the Trump library would be appalling. |
