Their attempt to get them thrown out was inevitable.  I don't think they really expect to win.  I suspect their goal is mostly to ensure that drive-thru voting isn't allowed in the future.

The once great Pittsburgh post gazette has come out to endorse trump. Calling bidens presidency just an increase in taxes, a death to fracking, and a many state.

How embarrassing. But it's been coming for a while, the owners finally got their people in the editors after years of garbage hiring and firing.

If it's any consolation, the PPG will no doubt be dead soon enough, just like all newspapers.  The endorsement will probably bring it about all the sooner as all those who hate Trump cancel their subscriptions.  A few Trumpies will certainly subscribe in solidarity, but that's not going to last and I doubt they will outweigh the cancelations.  

We've only got one major newspaper left locally, and it's a shell of it's former self (and it wasn't a very good paper to begin with).  It was purchased by a large media company from the mid-west, so now large sections of the local paper are full of stories that have nothing to do with local news.

Really hoping things don't go crazy sideways come Nov 3 and the weeks from then. The whole situation has devolved so badly, we don't need a Purge film to become reality.

Federal Judge Hanen, an appointee of GW Bush, has rejected the Trumpublican lawsuit to invalidate drive-thru votes.

It looks as though the ruling highly likely to hold, based on what I've read of the case.  The position of the Trumpublicans is that drive-thru voting is unconstitutional because it violates Texas state voting laws, which are required to be followed by The US Constitution.  The Texas Supreme Court has already ruled that drive-thru voting is permitted under Texas election laws, so that issue is effectively settled.  The Federal Judge ruled that the plaintiffs of the lawsuit didn't even have the standing to file the suit in the first place, and that even if they would have had any standing, the Texas Supreme Court has the final say on whether or not the practice of drive-thru voting follows state election laws.  

What I'm particularly curious about at the moment is how all this news coverage is going to effect voter turnout on Election Day.  This is the most encouraging news Texas Democrats have had in a long time.  If everyone in Harris County didn't know about the ready availability of voting locations before, they certainly do now.  Voter turnout could wind up being bigger all across Texas because of this frivolous lawsuit, which is exactly what these idiots were trying to avoid in the first place.

It didn't have to be this crazy but Trump and Fox News use gaslighting as a campaign tactic. They're programing violent reactions into these people, and that's one of the reasons this administration should never have been put into power.

Having a Republican in office is one thing, but this is like having a scamming YouTuber flamethrowing for SuperChats in a position of power, and that's way too dangerous.

They called in the National Guard in case shit goes south today. Thank goodness I voted already and don’t have to deal with the nonsense.
