Rush Limbaugh is a twat of the highest order.
Soon he'll be a dead twat of the highest order.
And the world'll keep on turning.

That State of the Union speech was even worse than my lowest expectations prepared me for.
Awful.

You gotta hand it to her, she knows how to play to her base. It’s almost getting as much attention as the speech itself.
Then again though, I’ve seen Republicans retweeting it saying she ripped it up the same way McConnell will rip up the articles of impeachment tomorrow. And around and around we go.

Nah I hope rush suffers. Couldn't have happened to a better person. And hopefully his addiction to pain pills means he's gonna feel it all.
The whole way down. Good riddance.

To award him the Medal of Freedom is such a disgrace. The presidential medal seeks to recognize those people who have made "an especially meritorious contribution to the security or national interests of the United States, world peace, cultural or other significant public or private endeavors".
Yeah, I guess ranting racism and ridiculous conspiracy theories for thirty years lines up with that description, sure. Bill O'Reilly is gonna start wondering where his is next.

It's the same pandering formula every year of the President saying something, their base clapping constantly, and then the President introducing empathy plants in the chamber that relate back to their own policies. But Trump's lack of tact, his cheap shots at the Obama Administration and Democratic Party, his overly graphic anecdotes to promote his absurd policies at the expense of the grieving families having the worst moments of their lives broadcast for blatant partisanship, it was just disgusting even for him.

I don't ever want to hear ever again that Suzanne Collins or Lisa Murkowski are somehow the "moderate" Republicans in the Senate. We heard about it during the Kavanaugh hearings, we heard about it during the impeachment trial.
Make no mistake about it, those two are just as much spineless, feckless, bipartisan cowards as their colleagues. Their justifications for acquitting him are pathetic.
It's amazing that we've come to Mitt Romney being the most sensible Republican of the bunch. Just let that sink in for a moment.

It's amazing that we've come to Mitt Romney being the most sensible Republican of the bunch. Just let that sink in for a moment. Mitt knows a couple of things that allow him to follow his own code, and ignore the party line. First, he knows he will never be President. He's taken a shot over and over again, and it never pans out. Second, the people of Utah love him. He doesn't have to concern himself with being re-elected. The only time Republicans ever vote the way they want is if their positions are rock solid, they don't intend to run for re-election, or they're an evil prick who genuinely doesn't give a fuck about anyone but themselves.

The Democrats successfully disrupted any Republican business for that timeframes, and I'm happy about it.
They got ammo on Republican Senators up for re-election. Susan Collins will not get re-elected, for one.

Romney is the only person of the president's party in history. to vote guilty in an impeachment True, but Nixon would have gotten Republican guilty votes if that had gone to trial. Also the Andrew Johnson impeachment was this crazy thing where Johnson was only nine of the fifty four senators were Democrats (because the post-confederate states hadn't been re-admitted yet) and Johnson was only sort of a Democrat because he was Lincoln's VP.
