The idiot in chief has finally cancelled the absurd military parade he wanted, and as you would expect, he's blaming someone else for having to do so. In this case, it's the fault of the Mayor of Washington D.C., who wasn't willing to spend $21.6 million of the city's budget to deal with all the security that would be required. Instead, the Mayor had the gall to expect the Federal government to pay for ALL of it! link

Brennan is considering a lawsuit over having his security clearance revoked when he has done nothing against the law. Trump did it because of all the things that Brennan has said about Trump's conduct, and because he testified in the Russia investigation. Trump has made it known that he is currently looking at about nine more former intelligence officials and thinking about revoking theirs as well. At least six of them have also done only what Brennan has done (and broken no laws) The president CAN revoke security clearances but...This adds up to a threat against to anyone who merely pisses Trump off for using their First Amendment Rights, and those who are called to testify in a lawful investigation. This is also, a strike against the justice system, and points to another example of Trump's desire to obstruct justice when he feels he is the target. It also sets up a dangerous prescient for stripping free speech away, and endangering the safety security and welfare of the American people. While those former intelligence officials are in retirement, they are often called upon to analyze and interpret current situations that effect the National intelligence intrests. They are seasoned security personnel with a great deal of hands on experience in handling world situations. If their security clearances are stripped, they wouldn't have the ability to fully address these challenges, because they no longer have the ability to see up to date information. Since this has happened to Brennan over 100 former intelligence officials have sent letters of objection to the actions of the president, and vouched for Brennan's credibility and character as well as his conduct with steadfast support. If that don't tell you something's wrong, nothing will. ========== Also, there's this

I for one am rock fucking hard with all this Cohen and manafort news.
Obviously the right has buried the stories and they just help a rally where they chanted lock her up at again.
But I gotta call a doctor. I'm getting lightheaded.

Word is, most of the higher up people in Democratic circle are saying wait to impeach, to see if the noise tightens more around Trump's neck.
Cohen's lawyer says Cohen would reject any pardon "from a man that he considers to be both corrupt and a dangerous person in the oval office,”
I heard last night Cohen is looking at just over five years in prison. Manafort, who has not been sentenced yet, was found guilty of eight felonies, and the jury hung on the other counts. Right now Manafort has a possibility of getting eighty eight years Maximum in prison. He's 'currently weighing his options.
===== Number of people in Trump's organization convicted of felonies? 4 in 18 months...so far.
Number of people in Obama's organization convicted of felonies? 1 in 8 years.

We've said that about so many things in this nightmare and the motherfucker just keeps slipping out of accountability. He'll pardon them, the media will cause an uproar, Trump will call it "fake news" the Republicans in congress will put out some weak-ass statement that they're "concerned" then two weeks later his polling will be back to 40%.

Trump supporters on Facebook are still in denial, while the Trumpanzees on Twitter have been outnumbered by the Never Trump people. Trump is also in denial. Yesterday Trump tweeted that Cohen plead guilty to a couple of campaign finance violations. But they're not crimes. How do you go into a federal court and stand before a judge and plead guilty to two counts of campaign finance violations, and not have them be federal crimes? Why the fuck plead guilty to two counts of campaign finance violations if they're not crimes? I guess he was hoping his followers were down to that level of stupid. Quite a few seem to be though.

i like the one with Mueller in a car mirror that says "Objects in the rearview mirror may be closer than they appear" Trump must be going really bonkers by now with his Fixer, his catch and kill National Enquirer buddy, his Chief Financial Officer, and a former doorman all getting immunity to spill the beans. "(Cohen) makes a better deal when he uses me, like everybody else,” Trump said. “And one of the reasons I respect Paul Manafort so much is he went through that trial — you know they make up stories. People make up stories. This whole thing about flipping, they call it, I know all about flipping.” He continued: “For 30, 40 years I’ve been watching flippers. Everything’s wonderful and then they get 10 years in jail and they — they flip on whoever the next highest one is, or as high as you can go." "I have great respect for what he's (Manafort) done in terms of what he's going through. You know, he worked for Ronald Reagan for years. He worked for Bob Dole. He worked, I guess his firm worked, for (Sen. John) McCain. He worked for many, many people many, many years, and I would say what he did, some of the charges they threw against him, every consultant, every lobbyist in Washington probably does," Trump said. Before the verdict, Trump said he barely knew Manafort, and now he's a stand up guy. There are 10 more charges against Manafort, and he's looking at his options - he'll probably flip

McCain requested that GW Bush, and Obama give eulogies at his funeral. Biden is speaking.
============
Remember when Trump spoke out against "chain immigration" , and when he said we should let people in by merit, and we shouldn't let the criminals get in?
Melinia's parents just became U.S. Citizens...
hmmm "chain immigration"? √ yup, they followed their daughter into America
Merit? √ Criminal? √ according to former Yugoslavia secret police records when they were under a harsh dictator, her father was charged with the acquisition, sale or production of goods without the explicit permission of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. Also charged with tax evasion, the disposition of the charges unknown, the records Don t have a result, but at the time, the U.S. Denied immigration to anyone with those on their record.
Her father also got into his car and tried to stop the car of someone who took a picture of his house during the election.
So, Merit? (probably in the eyes of Trump) criminal? Possibly, but certainly not a nice guy.

If McCain had won the Republican nomination back in 2000, I'd have voted for him. The world wouldn't be nearly as messed up today if he'd been President instead of Gee Dubya. I may not have agreed with him about everything, but he certainly earned my respect. McCain certainly deserved better than he got the past few years from his supposed allies in the Republican party. He towed the party line in public far longer than they deserved.

He may well have been better than Bush (so would most people whose initials aren't "DT"), but let's not forget that McCain's foreign policy was extremely hawkish and that he supported the Iraq war pretty much the whole way through.
