www.ign.com/articles/2015/01/01/sylvester-stallone-to-begin-filming-creed-followed-by-rambo-5-and-scarpaSylvester Stallone has revealed his upcoming slate of projects, beginning with traveling to Philadelphia to begin filming the Rocky spinoff, Creed. The Expendables star tweeted about his plans for Creed, as well as potentially confirming the rumored title for Rambo 5, aka Last Blood: Rambo (or Rambo: Last Blood, as was reported recently). Stallone will begin production on Last Blood, described as Stallone's "No Country for Old Men", based on the premise of John Rambo taking on a Mexican cartel, before segueing to the gangster biopic Scarpa, which is based on the exploits of former mob enforcer and Colombo family capo Gregory Scarpa.

I love that he's calling it "Last Blood."

Why no Cobra sequel?
We need a good "cop who doesn't follow the rules" action flick. Just bring back Stallone, the car, and have it be the son of the psycho guy from the original wanting revenge and starting a new cult. Basically a remake with enough changes to call it a sequel.

"Described as Stallone's 'No Country for Old Men'..."
So basically it's a story about an old man in the gritty southwest only minus all of the intellectual elements and instead of a crime thriller it's an action movie. The Coens and McCarthy should sue for plagiarism.

Poor Stallone, even though he's had a resurgence as of late the only times people care about his stuff is when it has either Rocky or Rambo in the title. We'll see how many more Bullet to the Head and Escape Plan's come out before he announces Rambo 6.

Creed will be released on Thanksgiving. Yes Doomsday , THIS Thanksgiving. It's an awful release date in my opinion. One week after Hunger Games and opposite Pixar's The Good Dinosaur and Ridley Scott's The Martian.

Now Stallone has devised a way to play Rocky Balboa indefinitely. It's not like he had a choice.

Yea I am more excited for Creed than Terminator at the moment. That is until they release the flashback clip of Apollo being played by Ludacris, instead of Carl Weathers.

Carl Weathers is too busy showing Tobias how to make a mean beef stew. Yea what if he got tied up making the new season of Arrested Development. We are stuck with a non Carl Weathers Apollo flashback.

We are stuck with a non Carl Weathers Apollo flashback. They could cut to him and Tobias wearing cut-offs practicing acting and cooking. It would probably be better than whatever Stallone's whipped up here.

Or a flash back of Apollo teaching Rocky to cook up a stew, which is why Rocky opened the restaurant in the first place.

That's perfect, is it too late for Stallone to squeeze that in?
"You see Rock, it's all about getting that meat to just fall right off the bone. Throw a chicken in there!"

I hope they address that in Creed. I want a scene where Rocky turns to Creed Jr. and says, "I loved your father - as more than a friend." Then cue:

Although that might explain why their wives never hung out much in the movies. They knew what was going on and hated each other for not being able to stop it.
