Okay, so it looks like Life of Brian is a lock at 5 votes. However, both 36th Chamber and Opening Night are tied at 4... I am honour-bound to support Opening Night... but I would not feel right dropping my support of 36th Chamber. I, however, would be willing to switch my 36th Chamber vote to Opening Night, if we're ready to wrap this up. Unless anybody really wants to advocate for 36th Chamber?

I suspect the argument for it would be that we already have two Cassavetes but no Shaw Brothers kung-fu flicks.

Then I'll leave the floor open for now, just in case.

Both 36th Chamber and Life of Brian now have five votes apiece, which would make them the final two movies on the list. Are we good to call it there?

Patience, sir. I know you're excited to nominate Yellow Submarine but we still have to rank these 1-100 once the list is finalized. PG Cooper got ahead of us. Checkmate

Works for me.
This top 100 basically proves the '70s are the best decade in film. So many heavy hitters.

In 2 years when we do the 1960’s, we’ll see if that’s true or not. '60s are a great decade and stack up to the '70s on the international front, but '60s Hollywood isn't even close to '70s Hollywood.

Only films I'm missing are The Friends of Eddie Coyle and Investigation of a Citizen Above Suspicion. Definitely a couple I'd like to rewatch though.

I would imagine, when in about 15 years we do the top 100 movies of the 2010’s, we’ll nominate Geostorm 100 times and call it.
