Also we glossed over Drac naming Past Lives at #2. Very nice, it was my #1 of the year.

If 2023 were a regular year, I would have expected a Barbie exclusion. It is on brand for you. But the latter half of 2023 was compromised due to the actors and writers striking. It isn’t irrational to think that Barbie, the most culturally relevant movie of 2023, and one that you didn’t dislike, to maybe sneak in at number 10 at the very least, since 2023 ended up being a weak year. So when something silly like Skinamarink gets a spot, your list seems suspiciously disingenuous and purposely contrarian. That’s all I’m saying. And in 5 years it’ll be even more glaring. I’m just trying to save you some future embarrassment.

So no Dune 2 in the top 10? That’s spicy.

I would, Spider-Verse is better than Dune 2. Agreed. Spidey is number 3 on your list. Still room for Dune. In your case, would you have sacrificed Elemental for Dune.

I’ll check back with you when Kraven the Hunter comes out. I know that will bump something out of your Top 10.

Because it isn't popular with mainstream audiences? Have you even seen it?

Good list, Drac. I just need to see #’s 9 and 7, and I’ll have seen them all from your list. Curious to see as it currently stands, where do you place Asteroid and Oppy in Anderson/Nolans overall filmography? Hmmm. Off the top of my head...
Anderson:
1. The Royal Tenenbaums (2001)
2. Rushmore (1998) 3. Asteroid City (2023)
4. Moonrise Kingdom (2012) 5. The Grand Budapest Hotel (2014)
6. The French Dispatch (2021) 7. Bottle Rocket (1996) 8. The Fantastic Mr. Fox (2009) 9. Isle of Dogs (2018) 10. The Darjeeling Limited (2007)
11. The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou (2004)
Haven't rewatched a lot of the more recent ones though.
1. Inception (2010)
2. Memento (2001)
3. Oppenheimer (2023) 4. The Dark Knight (2008)
5. Dunkirk (2016)
6. Batman Begins (2005)
7. The Prestige (2006)
8. The Dark Knight Rises (2012) 9. Tenet (2020)
10. Intersteller (2014)
11. Insomnia (2002)
Might be letting nostalgia goggles cloud me a touch on Inception and Memento but I'm not quite ready to dethrone them. Also I haven't watched Following in forever so I just left it off.
Think mine is somewhat similar for both. Need to sit down and rank em out though. I think I’m close to ready as having Oppy at 1. Like you said other things represent him better than a biopic, but it’s close. Definitely on my Mt. Rushmore of his films.

Jack Black heard that Dracula snubbed Peaches, so he came back with a vengeance.

And Doomsday, the video confirms that Dustin Hoffman is still alive and well. You can sleep well tonight.

FFS, at least with Peaches they bothered to write an original song... it was 90% the same word over and over again, but at least that was something.
