Lot of Dame “not being integrated into the offense well enough”, plus Griffin had a tiff with Terry Stott, who was on the coaching staff, which led to Stott quitting. Ownership had “concerns he couldn’t lead this group”. All might be a fancy way of saying Dame might be a lil washed.
Oh, and they hired Doc in some sort of advisory role, only for him to maybe wind up as the head coach. What a fucking mess. And also hilarious.

I was a big supporter of the Harden trade. Everyone said I was wrong when they got off to a horrible start. Now I'm looking pretty smart. Their concern will always be health. But they have the star power, they have the depth, and Kawhi and Co. seem motivated to prove the haters wrong this season. The West is really, really tough this season. But count me in as a believer. |
