I can't believe he wasn't demanding the ball more though I mean Knicks did a good job denying him but he's the former MVP - he's gotta be more assertive. Brunson putting on a show every chance he got in the 4th was incredible.

But I expected embiid to at least try to match the super star energy. Dude collapsed under the weight of expectation in front of a hostile home crowd.

Be interesting what happens with this roster next year. Nurse needs to stay he's the best coach they've had in years but I dunno if even he can get through to Joel.

Starts with Jo since he’s a top 5 guy, or at least needs to act like it. Especially in the 4th. Just frustrating cause it it’s a case of both things being true, where he’s fallen short due to injuries/poor play, but also the incompetence of everyone around him. Because of who he is, has to be receiving bulk of blame.

I can’t think of many teams that do *this poorly* when one dude sits, on a consistent year in and year out basis. Yes, you’re going to struggle, but these other franchises do 1,000 times better to stay afloat when shit hits the fan.

All for considering moving on from the guy, just not sure what his value is at this stage, so we’ll see. Good thing is they finally have some cap space this summer after I drive Tobis bum ass to the airport. Gave this guy 40 m the last 5 years for him to shit his fucking pants every goddamn playoffs.

I believe in Maxey, but even he has some end game head scratchers that need to change.

We’ll see. They have been targeting this summer for a while now because of their known cap space since Tobi is out. I don’t get the sense they want to trade Jo anyway, even if they feel they are “stuck” with him.

Maxey is fine, and is bette than the Robinson/Herro comp, he’s continually made the leaps I need to see, it’s just small game things which I think he can get better in time.

They need to round out the roster as a whole much better. Will be interesting to see how they approach it, as I’m sure it’s going to be big game hunting, but not sure if that is the smartest way to spend their cash.

LeBron being a free agent is gonna be a fun off-season though. Expect some new super team to be formed from the old bones of him and Durant somewhere.

I don’t think LeBron leaves L.A., but Durant coming to L.A. is doable if a 3rd team gets involved.

Morey is salivating at the chance of Bron. I tend to agree with Neverending in that I think it’s hard to envision him leaving LA, but holy hell, if he does.
