Oof, got a bad feeling about this. It's going to be janky as shit. I'm just glad they continued shooting against blue screen for 99% like they did in Crystal Skull and shitcanned the horrible idea of shooting on location. I mean why use real water when you can use CG water, amirite? |

This looks like it has potential. They've clearly learned from some of the mistakes made with Crystal Skull. We've got Nazis as the Big Bad once again. Having part of the story told via flashbacks is a smart play. Doing a deepfake of a young face onto the original actor is not something I've seen done before. If Lucasfilm had any sense, they'd have tried it for the finale of The Mandalorian season two (although Mark Hamil may not have been willing to shave his beard). I'm kinda shocked that Disney didn't insist on using a younger actor for the flashbacks, so they could ease that person into the role for further sequels, as they run the franchise into the ground.
All that said, this could still be a complete clusterfuck. Crystal Skull looked good in the trailer, and we all know how that turned out.
