Pens did that with Mario back in the day. Owed him some sorta money left over after he retired and this was during the Bernie Madoff rich people never lose money new York Mets bobby bonilla mindset so instead of letting him walk and sending him a check ownership just broke him off a stake for the team since money only goes up (in the long run they prob weren't wrong) but it's not as far fetched as you'd believe. Especially not with teams in New York. |

If it means Woody Johnson has less say in the team's operations, then I hope it is true. Our front office could use someone like Rodgers.
If he wants to move there after winning us a Super Bowl, fine by me. Shit, he gets the Jets a title we can give him Staten Island.
