I just came back from seeing this POS. A typical case of the only funny jokes in the movie being in the trailer. The only good bit that wasn't in the trailer was from the skinny dipping scene. Some teens tried to steal their clothes, so Jennifer just marches out of the water and beats the shit out of them stark naked.
Don't bother.

It's a good movie, and she's naked in a brightly lit room. In this movie, she's naked on a beach night. I can understand the interest in watching this particular scene, but that's what the internet if for. Within an hour of No Hard Feelings hitting streaming, this scene will be readily available on the internet. Another plus for the scene, she's confirmed in interviews about the movie that the scene is genuine. No body double. No CGI to make a bikini look like skin. |

Like most comedies it's got a pretty solid first hour. The parents in particular are scene stealers.
But that wrap up for about 40 minutes is eye rollingly awful that prob was made in a producers meeting after some test screenings.

I mean, I liked the whole thing. It's not just an R-rated comedy that stops at the jokes, but instead takes the time to develop the characters and their dynamic so that it actually ends up feeling sweet instead of creepy. That, and I just found the movie genuinely funny. Jennifer Lawrence has always had naturally comedic skills, so it's nice to see her in a full-blown comedy that takes advantage of that. Here's hoping she does more.

I thought it was a pretty mixed bag. Had some funny moments had some bits that fell flat. In general though I just kind of feels like a movie that 2009 forgot. Hollywood really needs to come up with a new formula for mainstream comedy because trying to make The 40 Year Old Virgin keep happening forever plainly isn't working.
