Never been to a ugly sweater party come to think of it. Though I did go to the Christmas party of the temp agency I worked for a few years ago and immediately regretted it upon arrival when I realized the only person I knew there was my rep.  As for this Christmas, I have shows leading up to that week so not going home. There's a couple here that I'm friends with and have the I've worked with often that have a dinner every year and take all us NYC orphans in for the various holidays. Going to make homemade snickers and join them. I'll call my parents in the morning though. |

I'll be alone for the first time ever on Xmas. Seeing the family on Friday, but I have to work up until the 25th and don't really feel like traveling on that day, so I'll just hang out and lay low. Watch some basketball. Maybe do something with my time, but signing up for a soup kitchen is a lot of work surprisingly. I looked into it.
Be nice to have the place to myself though, and the female is leaving town too. Nice quiet time.

Awww, some poor guy in Ohio is being forced to take his Zombie Nativity Scene down - the Town says it's too big a display and violates the ordinances for front lawn displays Although one official, when asked what about the other violations around the neighborhood, said. "well if we went all around the neighborhood citing violations we'd never be done with the job"
Yeah that's fair.... at least he doesn't have to take it down until the deadline - the day after Christmas
