This show sucks. Depressing, pretentious crap. Even worse than the last 3 seasons of that other show he helped write.... Is this based on both seasons or just the first? I personally love it *because* of the helplessness and unhappiness. I averaged the first season at a 6.5 or 7 out of 10, barely enough to stick with it, especially after they revealed the location and cast changes for season 2 - but I genuinely believe that it is the leading example of a show that learnt from its mistakes and went from watchable from unmissable. Theroux deserves all the credit - he's the emotional glue tying everything together: N.B. Patti in this scene is a figment of Kevin's imagination (or is she?) after he embraced her as she slit her own throat in season one. Now she follows him around 24/7. The black guy is trying to help Kevin get rid of Patti as he has previous... |
