I saw "Jennifer's Body" for that reason as well. Though I don't agree that it wasn't bad, it kinda was.

If you wanted a horror movie, I can understand being disappointed. But it's a lesbian Black comedy. It's good for what it is. The make-out scene with Amanda Seyfried is already in the history books of erotic cinema.

Eh, I was just expecting it to be funnier and more clever than it was. I think if anything it just exposed Diablo Cody as a one-hit wonder with "Juno", the dialogue didn't work a lot of the time in "Jennifer's Body" but Seyfried was really good in it.

Yeah, Diablo Cody turned out to be a disappointment. Her book about being a stripper was great. I'm surprised that never became a movie. And her Showtime series, United States of Tara, was decent for a while. Other than that and Juno she has been shit.

The first one was awful, c'mon man.
I watched it on a TMNT high after a 60-minute documentary about the Turtles' history and all I could think about was how far they'd fallen from the ballsy first live-action attempt.
If they bring Krang into the sequel it may just veer into territory ridiculous enough to work but as much as I wanted to enjoy the reboot it just made me sad.
Jim Henson's Turtles > anything they can dream up in a computer.
