I'm glad to have the show back, but it feels weird that the final season is the one they chose to kind of spin everything on its head and take in a different direction. Leslie and Ron are at war, everybody has gone off to start their own businesses and whatnot, etc.

Oh man, I must be watching a different show. I find these episodes to be awful, with a lot of call backs to previous funny bits, but the best parts are when they pull 2017 pop culture out of their asses. Their focus to kind of make some sort of message out of some episodes too, is pretty forced and awful.
There are a few funny parts here and there, but overall the characters are so... awful. April might be the most annoying person on all of TV now, her negativity is just schticky and forced now.

I'm not a big fan of Retta either. I think she's the one character who doesn't really fit in with the rest of the cast. I just don't think she really adds anything.

I'm watching the most recent episode about Donna's wedding right now. That was kind of lame. I'm also working right now, but I don't really recall anything funny yet. Bummer.

Anybody else all caught up? Bill Murray was a great surprise last night. This has been a great season, so I'm happy the show is going out on a high note with its entire cast rather than being dragged kicking and screaming out to pasture.
Series finale next week. Sad.

He was hilarious on many podcasts. Guy had a great sense of humor.
Hopefully they can put a little line mentioning him after the final episode next week.

I haven't bothered to watch any of the episodes live, so I'm still a few weeks behind. I haven't been a fan of the season so far, but in a way that's good. The season can end, and by the end of it I won't really care about any of the characters. I won't miss the show when it's gone.
