Call me crazy, but Marky Mark isn't a terrible actor. He's a specific actor who succeeds in specific roles.

Call me crazy but after watching Spider-Man: Homecoming with my nephew I made a quick and dirty rank of the MCU movies according to Doomsday as of 7/19/2017. Most of these I've only seen once or twice so this could always be subject to change but based on how I'm feeling right this second here's where I would put them.
1. Captain America: The Winter Soldier 2. The Avengers 3. Guardians of the Galaxy 4. Captain America: Civil War 5. Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 2 6. Spider-Man: Homecoming 7. Iron Man 8. Thor 9. Avengers: Age of Ultron 10. Doctor Strange 11. Ant-Man 12. Iron Man 3 13. The Incredible Hulk 14. Iron Man 2 15. Captain America: The First Avenger 16. Thor: The Dark World
Have at it.

1. Captain America: The Winter Soldier Overrated It's fun. Fun movie. Dumb plot. Stupid movie but entertaining, I guess. Better than you're giving it credit. It's okay Better than you're giving it credit. Silly movie I didn't hate it. It's okay It's fun. Stupid movie It's fine. Underrated It's okay No disagreement from me.

Because it's a good movie? It's good... but it's also stupid. In the comics the central issue was superhero registration. Since none of the MCU characters have secret identities, they went for accountability instead. It's difficult to take Captain America's side when the government has a point, the Avengers are mindlessly causing mass destruction wherever they go. Some oversight and some tact is definitely needed. Then they ruin Tony Stark by making Bucky the murderer of his parents. He was under mind control... I would think Tony would have some understanding. Also, it's not like his hands are so clean either. Motherfucker was a weapons supplier. How many innocent people died because of him? All the character motivations were really dumb in that movie and makes it difficult to fully embrace. Yeah, it's an entertaining movie, I guess. But it's not the best of anything. It's as mediocre as you could get. In 20 years people will look at that movie the way we look at Chuck Norris movies from the 80's.

The previous MCU movies didn't show nearly enough destruction to really justify why Iron Man and the public were so freaked out.

Ultron is the one who fucked up the fake Eastern European city in Avengers 2 and Whedon showed them engaging in OCD levels of carefulness in order to give the middle finger to Zack Snyder.

Thor's brother. Tony Stark's creation Even if the Avengers weren't directly responsible, their hands are still dirty. The government's point wasn't entirely without merit. Who the fuck told Tony Stark he could create a robot just... because. There has to be SOME regulations. The whole "civil war" was dumb. Create some rules and boundaries, Captain America. It's not that big of a deal. It CAN be a big deal if there's suddenly too much red tape. THAT I can see as a conflict. But that feud between Captain America and Iron Man felt forced and silly.

He's adopted
That would suggest there need to be regulations placed on scientists more so than on heroes...

Pretty good list. I don't think mine would deviate too far. Iron Man might be higher, Civil War might be lower, Thor lower, Ant-Man higher.

I think that if anything it had the opposite problem. The previous MCU movies didn't show nearly enough destruction to really justify why Iron Man and the public were so freaked out. They fucked up New York City and whatever place that was in Avengers 2. The World Security Council wanted to NUKE New York! Loki has a reputation for trouble that dates back over a thousand years, so the Avengers can hardly be blamed for his actions. Besides, SHIELD recruited the Avengers specifically to deal with Loki. Their actions had been endorsed by higher authority. As for the destruction of Sokovia in Age of Ultron, since when has the UN given a damn how many people are slaughtered in some crappy little third world country in Eastern Europe? The most the UN ever do is send in a "peace keeping force" after most of the bloodshed is already over. Captain America was right. So what if the majority agree? At one point in history, the majority agreed that slavery was perfectly acceptable, that women were little more than trophies and sources of offspring, that people with dark skin are inferior to those with light skin, that people with dark skin were superior to those with light skin, that human sacrifice was necessary to appease a deity, etc. Sometimes the majority is wrong, and are almost always acting out of self interest or fear rather than altruism. People who wait for the majority to do the right thing usually have to wait a very long time, and often die before any decisive action is taken. When Thanos and the Black Order are about to decimate the Earth while they search for the Infinity Stones, would the planet be better off if the Avengers wait as the UN forms a commission to study the current threat while an envoy seeks a peace accord with Ebony Maw? I doubt it.

This movie has a higher rating at Rotten Tomatoes then interstellar inception and the dark knight.
So going in my expectations were super high. And they did not meet them
