2000 Dungeons & Dragons > Lord of the Rings I've only seen the trailer for Dungeons & Dragons, but it's astounding to see how fucking awful the CGI in it is and then you have Lord of the Rings the very next year from the very same studio look the way it does. |

2000 Dungeons & Dragons > Lord of the Rings I've only seen the trailer for Dungeons & Dragons, but it's astounding to see how fucking awful the CGI in it is and then you have Lord of the Rings the very next year from the very same studio look the way it does. The CGI in the movie is just as bad. But it also has Jeremy Irons hamming it up like a motherfucker. |

deadline.com/2021/03/hugh-grant-villain-paramount-eones-untitled-dungeons-sophia-lillis-1234704336/ Hugh Grant and Sophia Lillis are set to join the cast of Paramount and eOne’s untitled film adaptation of Dungeons & Dragons, Hasbro’s wildly-popular game franchise from Wizards of the Coast. The film also stars Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez, Justice Smith and Bridgerton star Rege-Jean Page. Paramount and eOne are jointly producing and financing the pic, with eOne distributing in the UK and Canada and Paramount in the rest of world. Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley will direct and write the script. Jeremy Latcham is producing through his deal with studio eOne, Hasbro’s entertainment arm. Hasbro’s Brian Goldner is also producing.

This shit looks like it could be fun. Lotta spectacle and action scenes prob hiding the script but looks pretty good from the trailers.

There's a special early screening for this movie at various locations across the country next Sunday afternoon at 2 exclusively for Amazon Prime members. I went ahead and got a ticket for one near me. This movie looks fun.
