As we are waiting for people to make up their minds to join or not, going to copy in some great guidelines to make this happen. I am generously taking this from Nilade who ran Secret Santa last year.
1) If you want to participate in this year's Secret Santa, please PM me by end of the month, November 30, with an Amazon Wish List of items you would want your partner to pick up for you. Parcel delivery will be at a premium so we need to stick to these deadlines for this to work and for people to get their present before Christmas.
2) You must, MUST submit your Secret Santa list as an Amazon Wish List. I assume all of you have Amazon accounts. It takes 1 minute to set up a wish list where you can go onto an item's page and click 'Add To List.' That's it, that's all you need to do. Please don't send me a list with 8 separate links to Amazon or Radio Shack items or whatever. When you PM me just post the link so I can cut and paste.
3) Please check, double check and triple check that your shipping address is linked to your wish list. I think a majority of people in past years didn't have that set up and several reminders had to be sent to people, sometimes repeatedly. Now that you've read this, please go check again to make sure your address is linked in there (it's under List Settings).
4) If you choose to participate, please be cool and have some manageable items on there and keep the price range to around $20-$25 max. If you send me a list with only a $120 hard drive and a $400 blender I won't partner you up. It takes 5 minutes, just go add some movies or books for your partner to choose from.
5) Again, please submit your completed Amazon Wish List with your address linked to the account by November 30.
