Frizzo the Clown Wyldstaar 1godzillafanThis show is silly, but I get the appeal. Really cool world building and the execution is top notch. I noticed Kevin Alteri and Dan Riba (from Batman: The Animated Series) worked on it as director and storyboard artist. Plus the team behind Inspector Gadget. Long overdue to get a live-action version, although finding the right creative team is crucial. We don’t want another G.I. Joe/Transformers situation. “It’s crime fighting time!”

I never caught this show, although I vaguely remember seeing commercials for it and the toys occasionally. I was in high school when this was a thing, and half hour toy commercials no longer held my interest. Anime bootlegs were making the rounds by then, and that's where my attention was focused. Bubblegum Crisis, Area 88, Appleseed, Project A-Ko, Dirty Pair, that sort of thing.
By 1988, the only cartoons I was watching were whatever was on first thing in the morning before I left for school, and COPS wasn't one of them.

I remember this show, but barely. I remember the toy line on the shelves, but I was all in on GI Joe at the time. I think I caught the cartoon once or twice, but it never really made an impact on me.
