Yeah, Blood Work just struck me as an average/mediocre procedural at best. Nothing worthy of tons of vitriol or anything.

1. The killer lives next door to him on a marina. Stupid.
2. He becomes romantically involved with a woman half his age, who is the sister of the woman whose blood/organs Eastwood uses to recover from his injury. Creepy on several levels. Also, stupid.
3. The police are not only incompetent, but actively obnoxious and hinder the investigation, questioning Eastwood every step of the way. The detective is one of the worst characters I've ever seen in a film. Not surprising that you won't find the actor in anything else. Stupid.
It's definitely one of Eastwood's worst movies. Contrived, absurd, and dull.
