Come on now, we can't just be making up the rules completely on the fly. If there were a 4 way tie at fifth that's what I'd do as well, early on in the thread at least. I admit I did consider it. But, like, every round so far, I've changed up the rules in little different ways, so I'm trying to maintain some sense of integrity and consistency. Yo Drac, throw a vote to Wolf this round and I'll back The Florida Project.
In fact, we should all back The Wolf of Wall Street. Three Scorsese films have been put forth in this thread and I firmly believe this is the one we should rally behind first. It's an exhilarating watch that builds on the foundations of Scorsese's work on Goodfellas and Casino while also shifting it to a fascinating and different milieu. It also embodies a lot of the core issues of the 2010s without being preachy or didactic. In fact, it's fun as hell, and that's the other reason we should vote it in. Comedy is subjective and all that, but viewing after viewing has only solidified my view that The Wolf of Wall Street is the funniest movie of the century.
