Hey. George of the Jungle is a time honored classic. George of the Jungle was the last movie I watched at the theater with my whole family. The end of an era.

Pfft - the cartoon was much betterer I never saw the cartoon or that Canadian one - Dudley Do Right. We all went to see the first Hobbit together...but before that I can't remember the last movie we all saw as a family. I see every James Bond movie with my uncle. He's a huge fan. And I see A LOT of movies with my siblings. At least 90% of them. And my mother will occasionally go to one of the Disney/Pixar/DreamWorks movies. But - yeah - it's tough to get the whole family together, especially with the current ticket prices. My uncle, for example, is done with the theater. His two kids are teenagers, so if they wanna go to the theater, they go with friends. He has literally only seen 3 movies at the theaters in the past 2 years: The Avengers, Skyfall and he got dragged into Frozen.

Well my siblings all live in different states so its really difficult. It's hard just to friends together here to see stuff. For Interstellar I finally had send out an email saying "this is when I'm going, if your coming let me know by this date so I can get tickets".

It's hard just to friends together All my friends are "geeks" so it's easy to find someone to watch, say, Guardians of the Galaxy. But if I wanna watch Gone Girl or Nightcrawler or Birdman or whatever, I'm out-of-luck. I've sort-of turned into Doomsday and Franklin in that regard. I'll just wait for Redbox and Netflix and cable - and if I'm really desperate - I'll seek "controversial" outlets.

Yeah, most of my new-movie watching comes from Redbox especially for movies where there's a possibility that I would be pissed if I dropped $13 to see (Sin City and Jersey Boys, most recently) but I will also head to the theaters to see movies I really want to see if only on principle, movies like Boyhood, Birdman or Nightcrawler, movies I want to see more of.

I've always like Brendan Fraser. Where'd he go... Looney Tunes back in Action was a good movie! He was also the lead in that and he beat up the actor Brendan Fraser which was awesome!

I think the last movie I saw with my family was Flags of Our Fathers. It cost my dad almost $100. That was the last of our family movie outings.

Thanks for continuously pointing that out! My day will come, Frizzo. I used to be the PG Cooper of the Internet and now I'm like Chevy Chase after Fletch II. We all get old and irrelevant.

I'm sure you still have some classics to cross off your list.

Oh man, that "classical" tag will never get old. It'll be "Films of the Antiquity" next.

I'm sure you still have some classics to cross off your list. If by "classics" you mean: then "yes." Oh man, that "classical" tag will never get old. It'll be "Films of the Antiquity" next. MasterChief was the one who coined the term, "classical movies." May he rest in peace.
