Cliffs Notes: 1. Kendrick teamed up with Metro and Future to insult Drake and J. Cole 2. Cole sent some weak shots at Kendrick, then apologized and fucked off like a coward 3. Drake launched a track with shots at something like a dozen people and accused Kendrick of having a bad contract and being short. 4. Rick Ross calls Drake white 5. Drake used AI to have the ghost of Tupac call Kendrick a coward for not responding faster. 6. Kendrick drops a six minute track at Drake that's kind of a preachy screed about how he's not "moral" enough or some shit while recycling a bunch of shit we've heard on other diss tracks. 7. Kendrick drops another somewhat redundant track suggesting he's been getting info from OVO leakers.
8. Drake drops a diss accusing Kendrick of beating his wife and also saying a bunch of shit about all those other people everyone had forgotten was even involved in this at that point. 9. 30 minutes later Kendrick drops another track accusing Drake of being a sexual predator and having hidden yet another secret bastard child. 10. Drake denied the last accusation on Instagram and is probably scrambling his ghostwriters to release yet another response. This whole beef is fucking weird. Drake vastly over-estimates how much anyone cares about these people's management team dramas and Kendrick is kind of coming off like a preachy scold. This is rap beef, just call the other guy a bitch and say you fucked their girl and that you might kill them, that's what we want to hear. These dude should be taking notes from Chris Brown and Quavo, those guys know how to keep it simple. |
