Pretty much what Drac's post says. It's a very generic plot but has some cool action sequences. It's worth a Netflix watch. |

Not sure why they released this clip, or any clip really, but this very much captures the tone of the movie. Action but with often forced humor. Some people are into that kind of thing, other people not so much.

Currently sitting at 49% on RT which I think is pretty extreme and overdramatic. This movie should be in around the 60-65% range, not great but not a complete waste of time either, just a fun action movie. To put it another way, there's no way this movie is worse than Free Guy (80% RT) or The BFG (74%).

I hated it. Hard to point to much of anything that works or is remotely intriguing. A lot of dull action. Stock characters doing stock things. A conspiracy plot that is barely elaborated on and feels as generic as the movie as a whole.
I think the most shocking element is that the movie just isn't fun. It's one of those scripts with bad lines and jokes but thinks it's spewing out nothing but cool. I get that this is a silly action film and not a Tarkovsky movie, but everything from character motivations to dramatic weight is just completely absent. Why Netflix decided to spend as much money as they did on such a lackluster, uninspired script is beyond me.
