I have issues with The Avengers, but in the end they're more nitpicks than anything (except for the deux ex machina ending where all the Chitauri shut down, that's bullshit).  I want to claim more admiration for Batman v Superman based on the fact that it has more ambition, but as opposed to nitpicks, its narrative has deeply rooted flaws.  The Avengers is the clear winner here.

Story:  While working on an experimental program utilizing supervillains as a government team called "Task Force X," Amanda Waller loses one of her planned subjects in the witch Enchantress, who is freed by her brother as they lay waste to Midway City, with Waller stuck in the middle. The theoretical Task Force is sent into Midway to rescue her, with a team made up of Deadshot, Harley Quinn, Captain Boomerang, El Diablo, Killer Croc, Katana, and Slipknot, lead by Rick Flag and his own team of soldiers to keep them in check. To make matters even more complicated, the Joker is tracking the Task Force through Midway in an attempt to free his beloved Harley.

Pros:  At long last my all-time favorite character of Slipknot makes it to the big screen!

Story:  An alien with a vendetta against Agent K named Boris the Animal escapes from captivity, travels through time, and erases K from history. Agent J wakes up one morning and is the only one who remembers K at all. The new Men in Black head, Agent O, track Boris to 1969 at a point in time where K deployed a safety system that would protect the Earth from invasion, discovering Boris not only murdered Kay but left the Earth defenseless in the modern day. With invasion immanent, J travels to 1969 and teams up with retro MIB agents, including much younger versions of K and O, to set the timeline back on course.

Pros:  Hey look! Two Will Smith movies pitted against each other!
Cons:  Will Smith didn't do a rap for this one. Don't worry though! I got us covered!

I got stuck watching Suicide Squad twice.  I went to see it on my own because I didn't think my girlfriend would want to see it.  Then it turned out she was downright insistent on seeing it, despite my warning her that she'd probably hate it.  The upside is that she takes my word for it when I tell her a movie is to be avoided ever since.

Penalty vote to MIB3 because I feel like it.

I haven't seen MIB3 but Suicide Squad is fucking unwatchable. One of the worst movies I've seen since...ever.

As the Men in Black brought Marvel it's first win, they come back to help Marvel break a late in the game tie as we sit in the middle of the home stretch, as the Suicide Squad's heads just blow up before the match even starts.  We all take comfort in knowing that Suicide Squad is Dracula's favorite movie, though.  Too bad his vote didn't count.

Story:  When Commissioner Gordon retires and leaves his position to his daughter Barbara, the new Commissioner questions the effectiveness of Batman on Gotham City.  The Joker complicates the situation by willingly surrendering himself and the supervillains of Gotham to the police.  Suspicious of the Joker's motives, Batman and his new sidekick Robin concoct a plan to send the Joker to the Phantom Zone where he won't endanger Gotham.  But that may be exactly what the Joker wants.

Pros:  Billy Dee Williams finally gets to play Two-Face!
Cons:  Zach Galifianakus is just...really bad.
