Since PG Cooper already nominated Frankenstein, I nominate Constantine and Fantastic Four (2005) since you all clearly love them so much.

I nominate Bride of Frankenstein. Not only is it a superior sequel in many ways but it's just as iconic. It might split the vote but depending on how things go this round maybe we'll consolidate our votes down the road.

I nominate Back to the Future. It defines the 80s in film, its incredibly well-written with many memorable moments, and its impact on popular culture cannot be denied.

I'll be making a more elaborate case for The Manchurian Candidate later given I don't think it really has a shot this round.
I'd put Frankenstein over Bride, for the reasons already listed, but also because it was one of the first truly great sound films from America. That goes a long way.

I prefer the original Frankenstein, but seeing either make the round would please me.
I'll probably support both and throw a vote to Back to the Future because it's one third of my favorite movie.

I'll keep my nomination for The Truman Show, its importance/relevance to the current glut/obsession with reality TV shouldn't be overlooked. But hmmm, Gladiator got no love last round, but now that Spartacus is off the list, do we need another historical epic?
You know what, I may come back around on Gladiator, but for now, I'll pick up/dust off Who Framed Roger Rabbit from where thebtskink discarded it on the side of the road and take it under my wing.
Don't worry, The American President. I'll get to you soon.

I'll be voting for Frankenstein given it has some buzz, throwin love to Safety Last! because Lloyd belongs here, and then, we'll see regarding my third vote. I agreed to back Truman Show in exchange for Phantom supporting Manchurian Candidate but I might save that for next round when I make my Manchurian argument.

I propose we disqualify Godfather Part II from ever being on the list and replace it with Rocky III.
I call this Proposition Clubber Lang.

Rocky IV you might talk me into. Objectively, Rocky III is the better one. Rocky IV is just easier to mock.
