I just watched both Becky films over the past couple days and they were surprisingly good. A lotta great kills and it Sean William Scott stepping out of his comfort zone playing a villain for a change. He does menacing well. Pure escapist fun. Thanks for the rec Neverending . |

There's a theater near Hollywood called the New Beverly Cinema. Its claim to fame is that it screens both old and new classic movies on film and it's owned by Quentin Tarantino. He often loans his own personal prints for the screenings and it's a big favorite for movie fans. Well over the weekend they screened the Das Boot Directors Cut on Saturday and Sunday. I didn't go but a good friend/coworker went on Sunday. He started texting me saying that there was a woman wearing some naval cap with swastikas on it. Employees asked her to take it off, she refused then they asked her to leave which prompted her to make a scene. She started making excuses, saying how she 'doesn't support Nazis' and I think she was finally removed. And the event made its way over to Letterboxd.  |
