My friends and I were super into TMNT at the time (the video games and the movies) and the '80s version was the one that everyone liked. They had the VHS tapes of various episodes at Blockbuster so we'd rent them and binge all the episodes on a Friday night. With pizza of course. Good times. |

1987 TMNT - Pinnacle of 80's cartoons
CBS TMNT - Mostly repetitive and running it into the ground
"Red Sky" TMNT - The cartoon had run its course, but some memorable episodes
Next Mutation - Garbage, but hilarious
2003 TMNT - Good animation, tedious scripting and awful voice acting
2012 TMNT - Pretty solid, I have reservations about certain patches, but I found what I've seen of it very enjoyable
Haven't seen Tales of the TMNT or Rise of the TMNT.

I have no clue if the Mask cartoon holds up, but I have fond memories of it.
They were both a part of a CBS block called Action Zone, I believe.
