That's not something I read online, that's what people say who've worked on his films. If he wanted to act like that after Heat and The Insider that's one thing but after Miami Vice and Blackhat I'd scale it down a bit. |

People who need things like that live sad lives. I've worked for a few of them, these 50-year-olds that whine and complain over the tiniest things, and it's just pathetic. I always tell myself no matter where I go in my career to never, ever be like them. People like Michael Mann and Scott Rudin might be successful, but you can be successful and a decent person in this business and be a lot happier in the process. Maybe Mann is just taking out his spectacular failure The Keep on everyone. "The guy who made Heat made THAT!?" probably rings in his brain over and over... |

They aren't going to be able to socially distance, even in a film about the subject, and any of them that have enough wealth and stature to avoid working altogether are going to. Sure, day players and extras who don't have a choice will risk it for their careers and the opportunities this pandemic might open for them when others are turning the roles down, but that's not what's going to drive these movies to actually happen. Crews can socially distance all they want, but the people in front of the camera can't and they're the ones getting these projects greenlit in the first place. |
