Kobe seems to be the next logical route. Ain't nobody trying to see ten episodes about LeBron, that's for sure. LeBron has another decade left. His doc will come. That 2000’s Lakers team definitely deserves a doc. Did anyone bother to get all-access to Shaq & Kobe fist fighting in the locker room? lol.

They should just do all of Kobe and Shaq's careers. It would be awesome.
I'd love for them to dig up audio of Kobe in his final seasons berating the fuck out of those awful players the Lakers scrapped together. Nick Young, Robert Sacre, Jeremy Lin, Carlos Boozer, Roy Hibbert, Robert Kelly. Lakers did NOT do Kobe and Byron Scott right with those teams lol.

SnoBorderZero, bro, Dennis Rodman should have gotten MVP. Jordan was struggling. Missing TONS of shots. Pippen with his back problems. Malone & Stockton are playing great. Utah was winning the game. Then as soon as Rodman starts fucking with Malone, you see the whole energy in the game switch in the Bulls favor. He took Utah off its rhythm. And the icing on the cake is Bob Costas’ commentary. He’s annoyed with Rodman and is mad that Malone is stooping down to his level. Then he disses WCW. Hilarious!

Rodman was such a catalyst for that team and still doesn't get enough credit. Arguably the greatest rebounder in NBA history and did it against people bigger than him every night.

Rodman was such a catalyst for that team and still doesn't get enough credit. Arguably the greatest rebounder in NBA history and did it against people bigger than him every night. He got into foul trouble so Utah regained the momentum until Jordan went on autopilot. Utah played better. They really did. They could have won the game if Stockton had made that 3. It's further prove that relying on 3’s is a flawed method. It’s what bothers me of modern basketball. Fucking go in! But anyway, interesting game. I didn’t sweat it at the time cause 1) the Pacers series was the actual Finals 2) they had already beat Utah that previous year and 3) that game 3 blowout turned the Jazz into a joke. I had no doubt the Bulls would win. But looking at it now, yeah, the Bulls were clearly still licking their wounds from that Pacers series. They’re beat up. Stockton & Malone are just straight up swaggering up & down the court. If the Bulls were a weaker team, the Jazz would have definitely won the series. The narrative that Utah was an old-ass team is completely false. These dudes would have beat the Raptors last year. No joke. Stockton is already a small-ball 3-pointer shooter and Malone plays how LeBron should be playing. This is a championship team in 2019. The Bulls were just so good it made them look bad in comparison.

Those Jazz teams were very good. Obviously Stockton and Malone were amazing, but you've also got Jeff Hornaceck who was a really strong player and a great supporting cast as well. I know Bryon Russell gets shit for giving up that shot, but he was always a solid role player: wing defender who shots 3's. In the '90s, that wasn't quite as common as today's NBA. You could argue the Jazz were a deeper team than the Bulls.
But yeah, they really couldn't stop Jordan and Malone couldn't dominate against Rodman and that's sort of the series. Stockton in the doc said they weren't in awe by the aura of the Bulls, but I don't buy that. I think the whole NBA was, and it's part of why the Bulls eked out close victories time and time again. Pippen being hobbled in Game Six, Jazz have got to get that win. They'll always be remembered as one of the best to never win it.

Pippen being hobbled in Game Six, Jazz have got to get that win. They'll always be remembered as one of the best to never win it. Dude, Malone's JACKED. He was the 90's LeBron. People talk about Shaq but Shaq was just a fatass who got easy dunks. Malone is what you want from a big athletic player. He plays so gracefully it makes LeBron look like a high school dropout. And no one could guard him cause he's so physically dominant. Rodman's strategy was to fuck with him. When Rodman got in foul trouble, he couldn't guard him. Rodman was smart enough to wait for the game to come down to seconds to go back to clowning Malone and that's when Jordan seized the opportunity. The error there was having Malone go for the rebound. It was just a straight up bad play. And then Stockton misses the 3. Like Reggie Miller said in the doc. You could be the most skilled team, but if you make bad decisions, it won't matter. The Jazz could have EASILY won that series but they were badly coached, Malone gets caught up in shenanigans with Rodman and they were outwitted by a seasoned championship team. If the Jazz had been more disciplined, this series would have been an easy win for them. Again. Look at the 2019 Raptors. Under normal circumstances, there's NO WAY they defeat the Warriors, but the Warriors were banged up. All the Raptors needed to do was keep their shit together. But if Kwai Leonard had gotten tangled in Draymond Green's web, the Raptors would have lost. Injured or not, it's still the Golden State Warriors. You gotta play smarter not harder. The Jazz were just an intellectually inferior team.

So true. I just finished watching Game Six and you're exactly right. How the Jazz don't win that game is astounding. The Bulls essentially have Michael scoring but largely laboring through double teams and resorting to mid-range jumpers, mixed in the occasional open three pointers. Kukoc made some big shots, but Pippen is largely ineffective. Yet they don't attack Pippen on defense which is insane! They should've been going at him all fucking game, especially if Hornaceck was being guarded by him. Majorly lost opportunity.
And then there's Rodman. You know, I think you're right, Jordan was the one with the game winner and most of the scoring, but Rodman is who won them that game. Every play he's in there racking up rebounds, tipping in shots, hassling Malone. Yeah Malone got buckets early, but when it mattered most Rodman kept him contained and forced the Jazz to shoot jumpers, which they missed and would result in Rodman pulling down boards.
I mean, there's a legit argument he's the greatest rebounder of all time, certainly if you go pound-for-pound. Who else? Moses Malone and Wilt Chamberlain would probably be the only challengers to that statement, and they were both BIG guys that dominated with size. Rodman did it with pure skill. Even when he flamed out of the league with the Lakers and Mavericks he was still hauling in rebounds at an incredible rate. I almost forgot after he started dating Kim Jong-un what a great basketball player he was.

This was awesome. Solid doc series. But they really should have done a whole episode on what is the deal with Jordan's bodyguard's hair.
