Knew it was a matter of time they'd move it up. Cannot wait.
Newest trailer. The Bulls had the best intro music ever.

A multi-part documentary about an athlete who hasn't been accused of murdering anyone? What's the point?

A multi-part documentary about an athlete who hasn't been accused of murdering anyone? What's the point? It's in 10 parts. Plenty of time for a big twist...

A multi-part documentary about an athlete who hasn't been accused of murdering anyone? What's the point? To be fair it's about the Bulls as a whole, so Rodman is definitely a suspect of doing SOMETHING while in North Korea.

Well to be fair, some people believe MJ's gambling issues lead to his dad's death.. so maybe there will be a big twist.
Also, I just bought a pair of the black pinstripe Bulls shorts from the '90s, so now I'm officially ready.

Oh it absolutely was.
It was a saving grace for the NBA too though. Could you imagine the optics of suspending the biggest star the sport has had?
I think MLB suspended Babe Ruth for some time when he was with the Yankees and I can't imagine it worked well for them.

One of my favorite what if's is had Jordan stayed in the NBA what it would have been like playing the Rockets in those 2 Finals. I'm fairly confident the Bulls would have been in one if not both of those Finals. Both the Knicks and Magic were great teams in their own right, but MJ is MJ, and I think they are in at least one of those Finals.
That being said, I'm not sure they win. Those Rockets teams were incredible.

Those Rockets teams were incredible. Steve Kerr answered that question recently. Taking those two years off spared the team from exhaustion and major injuries. It would have tarnished their 6-6 legacy.

And they had no answer for Hakeem Olajuwon. I think if they played twice, each team would walk away with one title.
And like Neverending mentioned, they would've been gassed going to 8 straight finals and probably lose one of those series to the Jazz too.

They would have lost to the SuperSonics Maybe, but the '96 Bulls were the best of those teams so that's hard to say.

Maybe, but the '96 Bulls were the best of those teams so that's hard to say. The best after two years rest Wasn't that their first year of Rodman too? They were a deeper team than the previous Bulls squads AND benefitted from Pippen knowing he was more than just second fiddle, carrying the team the last two years without Jordan.

We’re discussing the hypothetical scenario in which Michael Jordan didn’t retire.

Oh right.
Well still, that '96 team had more depth than the others. Rodman starting and Kukoc coming off the bench alone was a huge advantage then. Stretch 4s like Kukoc are common now, but in the '90s he was like a freak of nature.

Jordan jerseys were rarer than rocking horse shit in the UK back then, so I had to resort to a Grant Hill Pistons option.
